About

Wes Ehle is an actor, writer, and horror movie enthusiast based in NYC.

In January 2026, Wes produced and starred in his original play, Tina Morgue, off-off-Broadway in the New York Theatre Festival. He has also appeared regionally in two productions of Disney’s Mary Poppins as Bert, plus several other plays, musicals, sketches, music videos, and short films. Next up, he is competing in The Big Fat Play Fight at the Vino Theatre as part of a 15-person actor/writer/director ensemble.

As a writer, Wes has always been passionate about combining elements of horror, comedy, and the queer experience. Inspired by the Scream-influenced meta slashers of the 1990s, queer and inclusive comedies, broad farcical theatre, and unique, one-of-a-kind voices like Diablo Cody, Kevin Williamson, and Jordan Peele, his writing portfolio spans from feature-length screenplays and plays to short films, one-acts, comedy sketches, and a 7-episode web series.

Wes has a BFA in acting with a screenwriting minor from Point Park University. He is also a graduate of The Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk, VA. He is a member of Actors’ Equity Association.
